You Can Do It!
Today is our last day of Discovering Spiritual Maturity daily devotions. Hard to believe its been four weeks since CLASS 201.
Although these daily devotions are coming to an end, my prayer is that your personal journey of spiritual growth is just beginning. I hope you are committed to developing the six spiritual habits necessary for growth. Remember what we learned on Day #1: It takes DISCIPLINE to develop and maintain these habits. It won’t always be easy. And Satan will do everything in his power to keep us from living-out these habits. But, never forget:
“… I can do everything God asks me to with the help of Christ who gives me the strength and power.” Philippians 4:13 (LB)
You have the unlimited strength and power of God Almighty at your disposal. All you have to do is ask for it and take that first step of faith.
So, from this day forward, commit to developing:
- A daily Quiet Time that includes Prayer, Bible Study and Journaling
- Generous Giving
- A connection with others through LIFE Group
- A heart for Worship by learning to view every aspect of your life as an act of worship and by faithfully attending worship gatherings with your GNG Family.
Make these disciplines a part of your everyday life, and with every passing day you will become more and more like the person God created you to be – more and more like Christ. With God’s help, YOU CAN DO IT!
It’s been a joy going through these last four weeks together. I’m proud of you for stepping forward in faith.
Please let me know if these daily devotions have been beneficial for you. Feel free to share any suggestions you might have regarding this material. We’re always looking to improve CLASS 201 in order that it might have maximum impact. E-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I look forward to seeing you on Sunday!
