Is this REAL to you?
As we begin thinking through INVESTING in people in our Circle of Influence, take a few moments to re-read pages 7-11 in your CLASS 401 book.
Read Galatians 5:22-23 (NIV) This passage describes the attributes that should be developing and growing in the life of every Christian. These attributes are known as the fruit of the Spirit.
“… the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”
Does your life indicate that these attributes are growing and developing in you?
We call ourselves Christians. The Bible records that the followers of Christ were first called “Christians” in a place called Antioch. (Acts 11:26). “Christian” simply means “little Christ.” In order for us to INVEST well in others, it’s imperative that we live up to the name “Christian”, i.e. that we become “little Christs.” Granted, we will never be perfect. But our lives must be consistently headed in His direction.
Take a moment to examine yourself and ask God to point out any areas in your life where you need to grow and develop. Let’s be certain that when a seeker wonders, “Is this REAL to you?,” we can emphatically answer, “Yes!”
