Jeff was part of the original core group of nineteen that started GNG, and has been its primary teacher since the church began. He currently serves as the Teaching Pastor. He is responsible for teaching the lessons during the main service, and providing leadership and oversight for the GNG staff, ministry leaders, and volunteers.

Jeff has also been an attorney since 1983. His practice focused on criminal defense.

Jeff and his wife, Cheryl, have been married for over 30 years and have two children, JD and Reid.
