Date: Saturday, April 20th

Time: 10 am to noon

Place: meeting at the parking lot for Kameland Trail – located one mile east of Cave Rd on RT 50, behind the brown barn and overgrown weeds. 14605 RT 50 – best to pull up this location on all trails or Arc of Appalachia website.

Approximate Length of Time Involved: Approximately 1.5 hours and 2.2 miles.

Degree of Difficulty: The terrain is mostly flat, slightly sloping incline/decline with easy difficulty for a few sloping hills.

Miscellaneous: Time of devotion will be shared in the parking lot before the hike. Cameras recommended! Each member should bring their own water and a snack. No restrooms provided – should the need arise we use the leave no trace principle. (which means you carry your tissue back out with you)

Addition: Arc of Appalachia Museum is hosting Marvelous Mammals an exhibit to identify tracks. Open to all age till 4pm.

The G-Kids and Dance Ministries of Good News Gathering have worked together to offer a Kids Worship Dance Camp to our community this summer. We are utilizing the book “Dancing For Joy” by Murray Silberling to help teach children about worshipping God through dance. Our G-Kids Director will use large group settings to teach about worship, then we’ll have break away sessions where trained dancers from our GNG Dance Ministry team will teach kids the fundamentals of dance while shaping and molding their hearts toward worship. The week will close on Friday with an opportunity for the boys and girls to present the movement they learned to their loved ones. This event is something we’re offering to the community so come one, come all and let’s dance and worship God!
